GoSouthGo

GoSouthGo

This project took place from February to May 2007 and was constructed to give small and medium-sized enterprises a greater understanding of where opportunities lay for them as a result of London 2012. This involved five seminars across South London and targeted the seven borough in this region. In total 275 attendees gained an in-depth understanding of the key issues surrounding the Games.

An online portal was created for this that contained a directory of 50 local purchasing organisations for each of the seven South London boroughs and acted as a focal point for event bookings. In addition to this five online web-based seminars were created to last beyond the life-time of the event and to allow attendees to share the knowledge they gained with their own organisation and spread the learning of the event.
